Indigenous peoples are a group of people who face double discrimination, either because of their gender or because of their ethnicity.
In all of our advocacy work, Tirap Youth Trust believes in using a human-centered approach.
This is accomplished by disseminating information on indigenous peoples’ rights, such as the right to own property, the right to a good education, and the right to food and water, among others.
While the Ogiek community is our primary focus, we also collaborate with other indigenous groups since indigenous peoples need to work together.
